Clydesdale and Yorkshire Banks have revealed they are to offer a new fee free mortgage promotion.
The lenders will waiver arrangement costs for customers either signing up to a home loan or switching agreements to one provided by the financial institutions before July 14th.
Beginning on June 11th, the deal means consumers stand to save £999 – the mortgage arrangement fee at present – while first-time buyers (FTBs) can also make savings of £599.
Steve Reid, retail director for Clydesdale Bank, said the lenders are committed to offering competitive products that can prove advantageous for all their different types of customer.
Mr Reid stated: “Our fee free mortgage offer is designed to help people find the correct mortgage to suit their individual needs without having to pay an arrangement fee.”
The banks also noted they have downsized FTB rates for a 95 per cent loan-to-value deal to 5.99 per cent and for a 90 per cent option to 4.99 per cent.
Customers remortgaging from another provider were also reminded they will not be required to pay any legal or valuation fees.
