The Association of Mortgage Intermediaries (AMI) has welcomed two new associate members.
NatWest Intermediary Solution and Ulster Bank have been added to the organisation’s growing list of affiliates.
The firms offer a range of mortgages to brokers across the UK, with NatWest trading on the mainland and Ulster Bank providing services in Northern Ireland.
Both are part of the RBS Group and AMI director Robert Sinclair explained that he is delighted to see the companies joining the association.
“This is a very positive move and we look forward to forging strong relationships in the coming months,” he said.
“NatWest Intermediary Solutions and Ulster Bank are demonstrating their ongoing commitment to the mortgage intermediary profession by joining the trade body for brokers . There has never been a more pivotal moment to be pledging support to our members.”
Mr Sinclair added that he looks forward to working with both companies and is appreciative of their efforts to improve the industry so far.
Meanwhile, the AMI recently responded to the Financial Services Authority’s thematic review of mortgage fraud by saying that “all parties must be diligent, including lenders and solicitors”.
